Saturday Road Tests are available weekly no pick-up available (must be scheduled with Brookline Driving School, Inc.). Saturday road tests are subject to final approval by the RMV and the availability of their examiners.
To be eligible for the road test students MUST have a Valid Learner’s Permit (not expired or renewed no less than 2 weeks prior the Scheduled date). For students under 18, requirements are:
1. 40 hours of supervised driving with a parent or guardian (Maintain a Driving Log)
2. Must have a MA Learner's Permit for Six month or more;
3. Has a current Driver's Education certification on file with the RMV by following this link: https://secure.rmv.state.ma.us/DriverEdLookup/driverlookup.aspx
4. Maintain a Clean Driving Record for Six month prior the Road Test.
Please note: The RMV does not allow double booking of road tests. If you have another test scheduled anywhere else you must cancel that road test prior to scheduling with Brookline Driving School to avoid being rejected by the RMV and to avoid the loss of your road test fee with Brookline Driving School.
Fee: $130 – includes scheduling of the Road Test, Examiner from RMV, vehicle for Road Test and sponsorship for a Road Test.
Fee does not include RMV fees of $50 for License and $35 for Road Test scheduling fee. You will pay these fees directly to the RMV.
To take a Road Test with our school on Saturdays at Brookline High School. We are offering a Road Test every Saturday and all that we need is 2-3 weeks notice from you to get on our Saturday Road Test (availability may vary). We will provide you with the car, Sponsor and make all the arrangements with the RMV.
We also recommend you consider taking a practice lesson(s), to prepare for the Road Test and get used to our cars (Toyota Camry), which you will be driving on the Road Test (as knowing how to drive and knowing how to pass the Road Test is two different things).
To cancel a Saturday Road Test, you MUST give a 2-week notice, if not, students will forfeit Road Test fee and get charged $35 (Road Test fee) by the RMV.
